Son So Mang Joins Jeon Hye Jin and Choi Soo Young’s New K-Drama “Strangers”

Son So Mang will be joining the cast of the upcoming K-drama Strangers.

On May 8, Son So Mang’s agency Major9 Entertainment announced that Son So Mang will be joining the upcoming Monday-Tuesday K-drama Strangers and will portray the character named Jeong Do Hee.

 Son So Mang will be joining the main leads Jeon Hye Jin, Girls Generation’s Choi Soo Young, Ahn Jae Wook, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Hye Eun, and Park Jung Eon. 

Strangers will tell the story of a mother who lacks countermeasures and a cool daughter who will live together. The upcoming K-drama will base its story on the webtoon of the same name by Jeong Young Ryong.

The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Lee Min Woo who also helmed the K-dramas Cinderella and the Four Knights and God’s Quiz Season 4. 

Strangers will premiere on the ENA channel on July 17 at 10 PM KST. 

In the upcoming series, Son So Mang will play the role of Jeong Do Hee. She is a bright and kind character who always pursues peace. 

This will be the second upcoming K-drama of Son So Mang for the year. She recently starred in the series Kokdu: Season of Deity and worked alongside Kim Jung Hyun, Im Soo Hyang, SISTAR’s Kim Da Som, Ahn Woo Yeon, Cha Chung Hwa, and Kim In Kwon.

After Strangers, Son So Mang will also join the upcoming K-drama The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract led by Lee Se Young, Bae In Hyuk, Yoo Sun Ho, Oh Yu Jin, Jin Kyung, and Joo Hyun Young. 

Son So Mang made her acting debut in 2018. She has starred in the K-dramas Queen of Mystery Season 2, Chief of Staff, Oh My Baby, Mr. Queen, Rookie Cops, and Eve.
