Actress Song Hye Kyo gains more support from the public as she has continued doing good deeds for over 10 years.
On May 12th, Professor Seo Kyung Deok of Sungshin Women’s University posted a selfie with Song Hye Kyo, announcing their recent activity. According to Professor Seo, he and actress Song Hye Kyo have donated Korean guidebooks, Korean signboards, and replicas of cultural artifacts to 33 historic sites related to the Korean independence movement around the world over the past 12 years.
Revealing that they recently donated a Korean guidebook to a new American art museum, he said, “The first thing we cooperated on was donating Korean guidebooks to world-famous art galleries and museums. Starting with the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, we have donated to various museums such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) – Canada’s largest museum, and the Brooklyn Museum in New York. This time, we once again worked together to donate a Korean guidebook to another famous art museum in the United States.” The location of the museum will be announced after the Korean guidebook is installed.
Professor Seo said, “When I go to famous art galleries and museums around the world, guides in languages such as English, Spanish, German, Chinese, and Japanese are always equipped, but Korean guides are often not available”, adding “Therefore, I invited a Korean voice service to make Korean guides for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Later, I met Song Hye Kyo and have been working with her on similar projects for a long time.”
He added, “We will continue doing collaboration projects ‘planned by Seo Kyung Deok & sponsored by Song Hye Kyo’. We plan to go beyond the U.S. and Europe to find more places that do not have Korean language services and try hard to make them available there. Please keep supporting us.”
Apart from She has also continued to work with Professor Seo on various projects, such as producing a multi-language historical documentary and releasing it domestically and internationally on March 1st of this year.
Netizens are even more interested in Song Hye Kyo’s good deeds because she has been consistently doing that for 12 years, not just once or twice. In addition, she also conveyed her sincerity by participating in a special documentary about former comfort women as a narrator.
Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo once again proved her reputation as a world-class actress through the success of “The Glory”, which was released at the end of last year. She also flaunted her outstanding beauty at the largest event in the fashion world Met Gala recently held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
Not only achieving impressive success with her acting and beauty but also steadily spreading good influence with her good deeds, Song Hye Kyo is receiving great support from the public.
