Kang Dong-won talked about what he felt while looking at his visuals on the screen of “Possession.”
On the afternoon of September 19th, the press preview of the movie “Possesion” was held with the attendance of director Kim Sung Sik, actors Kang Dong Won, Heo Jun Ho, Lee Seom, Lee Dong Hwi, Kim Jong Soo and Park So Yi.
“Possesion” is a movie about a fake exorcist called Dr. Chun (played by Kang Dong Won), who does not believe in ghosts but has ghost sightings, gets into a haunted incident that he has never experienced before.
In the movie, Kang Dong Won played the role of Dr. Chun, a fake exorcist who does not believe in ghosts.
Dr. Chun runs the YouTube exorcism channel “Haneulcheon TV,” solves various cases with his innate speech and extraordinary insight into people. In the meantime, after receiving a request from Yu Kyung (Lee Som), which he initially tries to refuse, he heads to her house and faces a powerful real case that is different from the previous ones.
Heo Jun Ho, who played the role of Beom Cheon, a villain who hunts for spirits, said “Watching the movie, I wondered why our (Kang) Dong Won has such good skin. I enjoyed watching it,” he laughed.
“The name Kang Dong Won makes it a work that I was looking forward to. As soon as I received the first scenario, I worked with the mindset that there was no reason not to do it because the actor named Kang Dong Won was acting in it.“
Referring to the action scene with Heo Jun Ho, Kang Dong Won also said, “I thought it was so cool throughout the movie. Thanks to you, I was able to finish it well, especially in the second half of the action. It was really a war against dust, but I was able to shoot well for a few days with a strong heart because of you,” he said.
“Seeing my face on the screen today, I thought I felt a lot of age and experience now. I felt like I was old enough to play more diverse roles in the future, and I felt like I was old enough to play more new roles,” he confessed.
“Possesion” will be released on September 27th.
