From being “mother,” THIS idol’s visuals changed to being “daddy” real quick! After his photos, not only netizens were surprised by his appearance but even celebrities!

On Instagram, Jo Kwon truly surprised everyone as he flaunted his summer body— unleashing his bodybuilder side!

On May 5, the 2AM leader took to his personal social media account to post his selfies showing off his “wannabe” body.

He wrote:

“Not photoshopped. It’s already been 10 years with Jinwoo hyung. (I’m) the last exerciser here in Givn today. Let’s cheer for my hyung’s new start together.”

In his photos then, the “Love U, Hate U” singer surely sent his followers and netizens with his solid and sculptural abs, muscular arms and clear shoulders. His hotness flowed even more as he only wore jogger pants while topless.

This image is truly a shock to fans since he was known for having a “gender-neutral” image, wherein he’s often seen wearing men’s clothing, while at the same time wearing high heels, nail polish, wigs and makeup.

With this post, he stirred people’s curiosity if he was saying goodbye to such an image. However, Jo Kwon repeatedly stated in his past interviews that being “genderless” is his weapon, and he doesn’t conform to societal views on gender.

This means that it’s okay for him to be called a girl or a guy because he had already accepted who he was.

As soon as he posted his photos, Jo Kwon made a buzz among netters as well as celebrities.

Park Hyo Jin, also known as Narsha who was surprised by this then asked:

“It’s not photoshopped?”

To which Jo replied:

“It’s not photoshopped. It’s my real body. It’s just because I don’t take off my clothes that much.”

Kim Kyung Hwa also asked:

“Where’s your body fat?”

Jo Kwon answered:

“I don’t have much body fat.”

Earlier, Jo Kwon clarified in a broadcast that while he was often seen as a skinny idol, people around him acknowledged that he was not a small eater. Rather, he can finish one whole chicken, two bowls of rice with two bags of ramen alone, surprising people.

He also mentioned that he started working out after he almost did not make it into 2 AM’s debuting lineup because he has a smaller body frame. At the time, he confessed that he never experience having a 60 kg weight despite being 173cm tall, but after exercising, he gained 8kg with only muscles and since then maintained a solid body.

Meanwhile, Jo Kwon will appear as a judge for the new audition program, “꿈꾸던 무대 당신이-쇼퀸” (tentative title: The stage you dreamed of – Show Queen), which will be broadcast for the first time in June.
