Lucas Leaves NCT & WayV, SM Entertainment Confirms Idol’s Withdrawal
On May 10, SM Entertainment has released an official statement announcing Lucas’ departure from both NCT and its sub-unit WayV.

In the statement, the company updated fans about Lucas. They revealed that after a thorough discussion with the idol, his departure from both groups have been decided, and will continue to promote individually.
SM Entertainment also asked for everyone’s support and understanding about the sudden occurrence, since both parties have reached a mutual agreement.
The agency then encouraged fans to give their unrelenting love and care for Lucas, who will now be continuing his career as a soloist. As for his affiliation with ensemble SuperM, the group hasn’t released a statement regarding the idol’s membership.
