BLACKPINK’s Jennie Confirms Attendance At The 76th Cannes Film Festival

YG Entertainment has confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie will attend the 76th Cannes Film Festival as an actress. They stated, “She will attend the Cannes Film Festival on May 22 through her role in the drama series, ‘The Idol.’ The show was listed in the non-competition section of the film festival.”

The new drama series is scheduled to air on HBO this year and is about the story of all relationships surrounding a rising pop idol. On the other hand, Jennie is currently on tour as the largest world tour by a K-Pop girl group.
